NoOffer DescriptionFixed Term for Three Years I Part Time at 0.6 FTEHigher Education Officer Level 6 I $92,287 - $98,398 p.a. pro-rata + 17% SuperThe Higher Degree Research (HDR) Engagement Senior Support Officer plays a vital role in shaping meaningful engagement and partnership experiences for HDR students across Flinders University.
Working at the heart of the Office of Graduate Research, this role drives initiatives that strengthen industry collaboration, enhance student support, and elevate the HDR experience.In this position, your key responsibilities include:Coordinating HDR engagement and partnership initiatives, including supporting national programs such as the National Industry PhD Program.Providing high-level committee, reporting and project support to the OGR, Colleges and key stakeholders.Maintaining partnership data, producing accurate reports, and improving processes, systems and service delivery related to HDR engagement.About YouYour strong organisational skills, attention to detail and experience in providing high-quality administrative support within the higher education or research environment will enable you to excel in this role.
Your confident communication skills, professionalism and cultural sensitivity ensure you can support a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, supervisors, industry partners and senior staff.You will also be able to demonstrate:Experience delivering administrative services in higher education, particularly related to research partnerships and/or industry engagement.Ability to interpret and apply complex policies, procedures and guidelines, and provide accurate advice to stakeholders.Proficiency in working with complex databases, such as student management information systems.Understanding of current issues in the higher education sector relevant to HDR engagement and partnership activities.About the Office of Graduate Research:The Office of Graduate Research supports excellence in higher degree research across Flinders University.
