Experienced Farm Worker & Tractor Driver - Oakleigh Ag - Canowindra NSW
Due to our business growing, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and conscientious person to join our team in our mixed farming enterprise at Canowindra, Central West NSW.
We are a family farming business operating over 6000 acres of dryland farming country. Our main focus is cropping of 5500 acres with a mix of wheat and canola, using up to date broad acre machinery and technology. We also run 100 – 200 head of cattle for breeding and fattening.
You can expect that every day will be different, your duties will include:
* Operation of machinery associated with broad acre style cropping, including Fallow preparation, Sowing, Spraying & Harvesting.
* Truck driving.
* General mechanical repairs and maintenance of farm machinery.
* General farm work and property/infrastructure repairs and maintenance.
Applicants must have:
* Experience in broad acre cropping operations.
* Experience with general repairs and maintenance (machinery / road trucks / vehicles and infrastructure / property etc).
Not Essential, but willing to learn (training will be provided):
* HC Licence
* Welding/general workshop skills
* Livestock (cattle) handling experience.
