What you'll be doing
In this Radiation Therapist Level 2 role, you will take on a position delivering accurate, high-quality radiation therapy while supporting service delivery and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Plan and administer precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
* Undertake simulation, treatment planning, and patient positioning
* Apply advanced techniques including IMRT, VMAT, SABR and SRS
* Support quality assurance, safety, and clinical governance activities
* Work closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise care

Essential Requirement
* Qualifications: Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science - Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
* Registration: Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
* Licence: Eligible for EPA licensure by the Department of Environment and Climate Control NSW
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy, including excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats
* Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy
* Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities
* Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care
