RACV Royal Pines Resort is one of Australia\'s leading resorts in conference and events, hosting sporting groups, themed gala events and weddings.Our team deliver a high standard of customer service to guests with a friendly, positive 'can do\' attitude and a helpful approach.
This could be just the right role for you?
In this role, you\'ll have the chance to experience working large and small conferences & events. You will be flexible, showcasing your customer service skill set, working behind the bar, waiting tables, pouring drinks or making coffees. Your key responsibilities include:
Greet & interact with guests
Table service - take orders, plate drop/clear and beverage service - wine, beer & spirit knowledge & service
Bar - set up, service & pack down
Barista - coffee making & machine operation
Set and clear tables
Menu knowledge & explanation
POS and cash handling
What you'll need to be successful
Full availability & flexibility to work 3+ shifts per week on a rotating roster. Shift times range between 5am - midnight/2am, including weekdays, evenings, weekends & public holidays
Previous food & beverage experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar customer service environment
Barista coffee making skills & experience
Bar & beverage knowledge & experience pouring wine, beer & mixing drinks
Ability to carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks for table service
Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with guests well and to clearly explain food & beverage menus
Work well in a team environment & can follow direction
Passion for the hospitality industry & a desire to deliver 5 star customer service
Excellent personal presentation
