WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Level 2 IT Engineer, you'll be the key point of contact for advanced technical issues and will work on a mix of day‑to‑day support tasks and project delivery. You'll work across Windows platforms, Microsoft 365 environments, and networking infrastructure, ensuring our clients' systems are optimised and secure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Take ownership of some escalated support requests across Windows, Microsoft 365, and network technologies
* Escalate high‑level technical challenges to senior engineers with clear and detailed information
* Deliver both remote and occasional onsite support when needed
* Contribute to system upgrades, Microsoft 365 deployments, and infrastructure improvements
* Document all work clearly in service management and knowledge systems
* Perform updates, patches, and security changes in line with best practice standards
* Support the ongoing growth of team capability by sharing insights and solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
* 2–4 years' experience in an IT support or service desk role
* Strong skills in Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration
* Experience with RMM and documentation tools (HaloPSA, IT Glue, Datto RMM or similar)
* Knowledge of backup processes, patch management, and endpoint security
* Microsoft MS-900 or equivalent certification
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
