We’re now seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operator to take ownership of their warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement across logistics, storage, and dispatch.
The Role:
As Warehouse Operator, you’ll be responsible for assisting with leading day-to-day warehouse operations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and high performance from the team. This role is hands-on and would suit someone with strong leadership capability and a solid understanding of inventory flow and pallet racking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee inbound and outbound goods, stock control, and inventory management
* Coordinate daily tasks including receiving, order picking, dispatch, and general warehousing
* Operate forklift and ensure best practice storage and handling
* Conduct and oversee regular stocktakes and cycle counts
* Help support a team of warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive environment
* Maintain strict OHS compliance and champion a safety-first culture
* Identify and resolve operational issues, finding opportunities for efficiency and improvement
* Previous experience in warehouse operations, or in a senior warehouse leadership role
* Valid Forklift Licence with confidence operating around pallet racking
* Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse systems
* A commitment to OHS best practices
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure
* Reliable, physically fit, and ready to lead by example
