Role Description
This role provides high-level strategic advice on relevant regulatory matters to the Chief Executive Officer, the VRQA Board, and its committees, including:
·strategic oversight of registrations
·leading complex regulatory reform, reviews and investigations
·cultivating robust relationships across government, peak bodies, schools and other school sector providers and other key stakeholders
·exemplary leadership of a team of 30
·driving a values-based and positive culture of excellence
Qualifications
·trackrecord of achievement at an executive level in regulation, or similar government context with experience working with Boards or similar governance structures
·extensive experience developing and managing strategic policy, policy analysis and development, and leading sensitive projects
·deep understanding of contemporary regulatory and legislative frameworks
·well-honed skills in navigating complex environments and stakeholders
·outstanding influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
