Job Overview
Senior Security and Risk Adviser – SAP's Government Security and Secrecy (GS2) area, protecting SAP and Australia's national interests.
Responsibilities
* Support the SAP AU DISP Chief Security Officer across all DISP activities.
* Participate and support global GS2 projects, tasks, and compliance activities.
* Assist with maintaining GS2 internal stakeholder relationships to meet regional regulatory obligations.
* Facilitate and maintain personnel security clearances in close engagement with the Australian Government Security and Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
* Support the DISP CSO in maintaining Defence‐certified and accredited secure facilities.
* Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts with relevant authorities and security organisations and other security professionals for the benefit of SAP.
* Travel as part of a global team; national and international travel may be required.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience within Government, Defence, Defence Industry or regulated industry security roles.
* Proven track record in risk assessment, incident response, and security governance.
* Excellent understanding of PSPF, DSPF and Australian Government security standards.
* Extensive experience working with Australian Government classified information and personally identifiable information.
* Significant experience managing Defence security operations, supported by relevant training or tertiary qualifications.
* Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Australian Defence Security requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships at all levels.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Certifications
* Undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional qualifications in Government Protective Security, Information Assurance, Information Security, and Risk Management are highly desirable.
* Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Security Clearance issued by AGSVA.
