About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Furniture Delivery Offsider to join our dedicated team in Queanbeyan East, NSW. This is a full-time position that will involve assisting with the delivery and installation of furniture to our customers' homes and businesses.
What you'll be doing
* Carefully loading and unloading furniture from delivery vehicles
* Assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of furniture to customer locations
* Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring a professional and courteous demeanour
* Working collaboratively with the delivery driver to ensure a smooth and seamless delivery process
* Reporting any issues or concerns to the management team
* Maintaining a clean and organised delivery vehicle
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
* A valid driver's licence and a strong understanding of road safety a heavy vehicle licence a plus. But not required
* Previous experience in a customer service or manual labour role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture
* Ability to lift up to 30kg safely
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
