About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Stewardship Manager to lead our water stewardship and contaminated sites portfolio in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement water stewardship targets and projects to meet environmental performance targets and comply with corporate and legislative requirements.
* Manage the contaminated sites portfolio, including site classifications, planning, development, and management of human health and environment risks.
* Lead the Water Licence approvals and reporting process under the Rights in Water and Irrigation Act 1914.
* Coordinate input to Environment/Social surrounds focussed engagements with Traditional Owner groups.
* Develop and maintain a work plan for the portfolio and prioritize activities accordingly.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
* Strong planning, project management, organisational, and time management skills.
* Understanding of relevant environmental legislation, particularly the Western Australia Rights in Water and Irrigation Act 1914 and Contaminated Sites Act 2003.
* Substantive experience in managing water stewardship and contaminated sites is highly desirable.
