As an IT Events Administrator, you will be the backbone of our ticketing operations, ensuring seamless IT services that connect thousands of fans to unforgettable experiences.
You will work closely with our team to install and maintain ticketing infrastructure, access control systems, and other technical collateral as required. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues will be invaluable in keeping our events running smoothly.
We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in Windows administration, who is comfortable working in live event environments and can think on their feet. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* On-site Technical Support: Ensure best-in-class IT support at Ticketek events
* Infrastructure Installation: Install points of sale (PCs, BOCA printers, EFTPOS) at venues, client sites, and temporary events
* Network Administration: Administer and maintain ticketing IT infrastructure and access control infrastructure at client venues
* Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the installation, support, and maintenance of I.T. collateral as required such as servers, switches, WAP's etc.
* Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance of internal and external client equipment and infrastructure
* Documentation: Record changes that you make to network or device configuration in the appropriate configuration diagrams or databases
* Ticket Resolution: Ensure IT support calls are answered and responded to and that fault resolution information is recorded in detail into the service desk database system
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience: At least 3 years administration experience with Windows Desktop or similar hands-on experience in a technician and/or support specialist role
* Skillset: Identify, disseminate, and manage pressure situations; answer technical queries and know when to escalate; be pro-active in ticketing system and underlying platform problem-solving; have experience in working in live events
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
* Licensing: A current full Australian driver's license
Desirable Experience and Skills
* Operating Systems: Windows 10/11 and server 2016 or greater experience
* Databases: Microsoft SQL 2017 or greater familiarity
* Cisco Certification: Cisco networking experience demonstrated by suitable Cisco qualification
* Networking: Broad network (LAN/WAN) and server experience
* Patron Access Control: Familiarity with patron access control solutions desirable
Work Requirements and Benefits
* Working Hours: Due to the nature of this role, work is required outside of business hours and on the weekend
