CHPP Technician
The Maxwell Underground Mine has commenced operations at their Hunter Valley site with planned production of up to 8 million tonnes per annum. About the Role
We are seeking CHPP Technicians to join our team. Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor, we are looking for individuals who have demonstrated problem-solving skills and proven experience in a CHPP to achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Operational Systems: Assist with the development of working systems for CHPP operations.
2. Operate and Maintain: Undertake operational and maintenance tasks in the CHPP in a timely and cost-effective manner.
3. Conduct Workplace Inspections: Complete workplace inspections of the CHPP area consistent with the Mine Inspection Plan.
4. Collaborate with Technicians: Work with electrical and mechanical technicians to perform CHPP operations and maintenance tasks as required.
5. Promote Safety: Demonstrate a strong safety focus and actively promote site HS&E requirements amongst the wider team.
6. Support Working Culture: Support the development of a positive working culture.
About You
* You must possess trade qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical).
* You should have a working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act and regulations.
* You need a high level of computer literacy.
* You should demonstrate problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
* You require excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* You need highly developed interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
