The Opportunity

With a strong focus on safety, innovation and operational excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Scheduler/ Planner to join our Asset Management team.
The Role
As a Scheduler/ Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the reliability and efficiency of our plant operations. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site to ensure minimal disruption to production, optimised equipment performance, and reduced unplanned downtime.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Developing, maintaining, and optimising the site's maintenance schedules for all plant and equipment,
* Entering work orders and maintenance documentation in Pronto,
* Completing weekly, monthly and annual reports from Pronto as required,
* Collaborating closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities with production requirements,
* Planning preventative maintenance tasks in alignment with OEM recommendations and internal standards,
* Prioritising and scheduling corrective work orders based on urgency and impact on production,
* Ensuring accurate job scoping, resource allocation, and material availability for all scheduled work,
* Monitoring and reporting on the performance of maintenance schedules and equipment reliability,
* Driving continuous improvement in scheduling practices to enhance equipment uptime and plant efficiency,
* Assisting with the planning and scheduling of projects across site, and
* Providing temporary coverage as acting Foremen when required (e.g., leave coverage).
The Person
As the successful applicant you will have:
* Proven experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role, preferably in a mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing environment,
* Relevant trade qualification or engineering background (desirable but not essential),
* Strong understanding of maintenance principles, reliability practices, and CMMS systems (Experience with Pronto will be considered preferable),
* Microsoft Office suite proficiency,
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail,
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments,
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, and
* Current Drivers' License
