Job Title: Household Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Household Manager to
oversee the day-to-day operations of our home. As a Household Manager, you will
be responsible for managing the household's administrative, logistical, and culinary
tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the home.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Plan and organise meals, including creating menus, making shopping lists, and cooking meals
* Grocery shopping and managing household supplies
* Household organisation, including housekeeping, decluttering, cleaning, laundry and organising, etc.
* Coordinate household maintenance, including scheduling repairs and maintenance for appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems, etc.
* Ensure the home is running smoothly and efficiently, including managing household systems and processes
* Be able to work between the hours of 1:30pm and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
* Assist in managing household logistics
* Perform other household management tasks as needed
Desired Attributes:
* Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
* Basic knowledge of meal planning and cooking principles
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Minimum six months commitment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with meal planning and cooking for families
* 2-3 years of household management experience
* Experience in hospitality, nutrition, or a related field preferred
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends preferred
* Knowledge of household systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
* Ability to perform minor household repairs and maintenance tasks
* Victorian Driver Licence
