Job Description
This is an Ongoing, Full-time contract starting on 01/08/2026.
As a Secondary Teacher, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Teach the History and Geography curriculum in French to secondary school students (Years 6 to 12)
* Prepare students for examinations
* Teach within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standards expected
* Embrace the French-Australian work culture of our School
* An ability to teach across different subject areas would be an advantage

* Remuneration as per the Independent Schools NSW/ACT industrial agreement (Annual full time base between a minimum of $94 155 AUD and a maximum of $133 009 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience)
Desired Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree + Master's degree in education + competitive examination (CAPES/Agrégation), subject to assessment by Australian agencies
* Minimum of 4 years' full-time experience
* Previous experience in the French Education system, in collège and lycée
* Native speaker French plus English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS overall band score of at least 5.0, with no component below 4.5
* Knowledge of the AEFE network and the French education system abroad
* Ability to teach across subject areas is highly regarded
* Relational and reflective classroom teacher and collaborative community member focused on improving educational outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to engage with students using inclusive and innovative pedagogical practices
