About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a Casual basis. As part of our hospitality team, Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our homes.

The Role

* Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and always maintained at a high standard.
* Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
* Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
* Cleaning bathroom facilities.
* Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
* Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
* Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.

To be successful, you will have

* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
* Complete a NDIS workers check/ Police Clearance
* Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
* Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
* Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
