Indigenous Managed Services (IMS) is focused on providing meaningful opportunities for all peoples while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients across the Energy & Resources, Mining, Civil, and Government sectors.

We are building a talent pool of experienced HR, People Advisory, and Payroll Systems professionals for upcoming and future contract opportunities across the Perth metropolitan area.

These opportunities sit within large, complex, and highly regulated environments, supporting critical workforce, people, and payroll functions. Roles may be offered on a full-time or flexible FTE basis (0.6–1.0) depending on business needs.


Potential Role Types

* Senior Advisor – People Advisory / ER
* HR Advisor / HR Business Partner
* Payroll Systems Specialist
* HR / Payroll Systems Analyst
* HRIS / SuccessFactors / SAP Support
* Workforce Reporting & Analytics (HR / Payroll)


Key Responsibilities (Role-Dependent)


People Advisory & ER

* Provide high-quality HR and ER advice to leaders and employees
* Manage end-to-end case management, including investigations, misconduct, performance management, and fitness-for-work matters
* Interpret and apply enterprise agreements, awards, policies, and employment legislation
* Coach leaders through complex people matters and disciplinary processes
* Analyse case data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities


Payroll & HR Systems

* Provide specialist support across HR and payroll systems
* Resolve system issues and support BAU changes, upgrades, and testing
* Maintain data integrity, system controls, and reporting accuracy
* Support go-live activities, hypercare, and system optimisation
* Deliver user training, documentation, FAQs, and communications
* Produce workforce reports, dashboards, and analytics (Excel / Power BI)


What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in HR Advisory, ER case management, payroll systems, or HRIS support
* Strong experience in medium to large organisations
* Demonstrated capability in complex, high-risk or high-volume environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Confidence interpreting industrial instruments, policies, and procedures
* Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI highly regarded
* Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors highly desirable
* Exposure to unionised environments advantageous
