Tile Empire (formerly Tile Boutique) is one of Western Australia's largest independent tile retailers, proudly servicing the WA market for over 46 years. With five company-owned showrooms, a WA-based distribution centre, and an extensive wholesale network, we continue to set the benchmark for quality, design, and customer experience in the tile and interiors industry.
We are now seeking an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Showroom Manager to lead our flagship 900sqm Osborne Park showroom — a true blue-chip leadership role within our business.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role offers the opportunity to lead a large, high-performing team while shaping the customer experience, driving results, and representing the Tile Empire brand at the highest level.
The Role
As the Osborne Park Showroom Manager, you will lead a team of approximately ten Showroom Design Consultants, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong operational performance, and consistent sales growth. You will play a key role in building long-term relationships with interior designers, bespoke builders, and retail customers, while maintaining the premium standards expected of our flagship location.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Experience
o Set and uphold exceptional customer experience standards aligned with Tile Empire brand values
o Actively engage with customers in the showroom when required
o Manage customer enquiries and escalations to ensure positive outcomes
o Ensure showroom presentation and service standards consistently reflect a premium environment
* Leadership
o Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing showroom team
o Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture
o Drive performance through clear expectations, feedback, and development
* Operations & Growth
o Oversee daily showroom operations, including staffing, seating plans, and compliance
o Review estimates, approve packages, create purchase orders, and manage installations
o Oversee supply and fix programs, including coordination with tilers
o Track sales performance and key metrics, implementing strategies to drive consistent growth
* Recruitment, Safety & Compliance
o Recruit, train, and develop team members, including succession planning
o Promote WHS standards and ensure team compliance with safety procedures
o Report hazards, incidents, and near misses in accordance with company policy
o Ensure consistent delivery of Tile Empire brand values across all showroom activities
About You
You are a confident and capable leader with a passion for customer experience, people development, and operational excellence. You thrive in a premium retail or showroom environment and take pride in delivering results through strong leadership.
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience in a customer service based management role
* Demonstrated success leading and managing sales teams
* Strong background in driving sales performance and operational outcomes
* Experience within tiles, building products, interiors, or related industries is highly desirable
* Design qualifications or tertiary qualifications in commerce or related fields are advantageous, but not essential
