Position Overview
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
Responsibilities
* Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
* Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
* Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
* Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed.
* Restock housekeeping supplies for the next day.
* Replenish chemical bottles.
* Report missing items from rooms (e.g., irons, hair dryers) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
* Report maintenance issues immediately.
* Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
* Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
* Ability to stand for entire shift.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills; friendly and courteous demeanor.
