Job Title: IT Risk Management Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As an IT Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing IT risk management services to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to identify and assess potential IT risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Your primary focus will be on providing IT risk management services, including identifying financial reporting-related IT risks, evaluating IT General Controls (ITGC) design and operating effectiveness, and testing application controls. You will also provide a broad range of Technology Risk Services, relating to regulatory compliance, such as CPS 234 and CPS 230.
You will be required to identify, evaluate, and manage risks derived from an organization engaging with a third party. This will involve working with our clients to develop and implement risk management strategies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of their IT systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain awareness of current industry IT trends and regulations.
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will need to demonstrate a passion for emerging technologies and a willingness to work within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Financial services industry-based knowledge and experience.
* Knowledge of, and experience in, IT audit supporting external audits, controls assurance reports, internal auditing, IT risk management strategies and techniques.
* A result-oriented and commercially client-focused mindset.
* Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify engagement and client service issues.
