The Opportunity
We have an opening for an experienced Senior Positional Options Trader to join their APAC trading team in Sydney. This role offers a unique opportunity to trade options across Asian markets within a collaborative environment that combines world‐class market‐making infrastructure with a progressive risk appetite.
You'll work alongside best‐in‐class systems and tools, with access to exceptional liquidity through their market‐making desks and the freedom to pursue sophisticated trading strategies.
What You'll Do
* Build and execute options trading strategies across Asian equity and index markets
* Collaborate closely with research, technology, and cross‐functional teams to drive continuous improvement
* Contribute strategically to the evolution of their trading approach and challenge existing methods
* Take ownership of systematic or semi‐systematic strategies with measurable impact
* Share knowledge and mentor team members in a highly collaborative environment
Who You Are
* Significant experience working as an Equity/Index Options Trader – preferably at a leading market‐making or proprietary trading firm
* Holistic understanding of the options trading problem across pricing, risk management, and execution
* Strong and responsible risk appetite with demonstrated ability to manage complex positions
* Technical aptitude and ability to work effectively with quantitative systems

* Genuine passion for trading with a drive for continuous improvement
* Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
* Comfort working in fast‐paced, dynamic environments
Location Note
