About the Project Delivering a new childcare centre in Wangaratta valued at $3.5–$4 million. This is a single-level, steel-frame construction project with a straightforward specification and a strong focus on quality and stakeholder engagement.
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You'll coordinate trades, manage schedules, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders including childcare operator.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines
* Liaise with stakeholders in the childcare and education sectors
* Maintain quality control and resolve site issues promptly
Requirements
* Proven experience managing commercial projects, ideally childcare or education facilities
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Ability to lead and motivate site teams
