Lumus Imaging are currently looking for an experienced registered or enrolled nurse to join our young friendly professional team working in our medical imaging department at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager you will be working closely with the radiographers and radiologists providing general nursing services to outpatients and hospital inpatients as well as participating in imaging procedures in a variety of modalities such as Ultrasound, CT, and Fluoroscopy.

This is a great opportunity to be involved with our expansion and get yourself into a nursing role with friendly working hours between 9 am - 5 pm with on call shift work.

Werribee Mercy Hospital, located just 25 km west of Melbourne on the Princes Highway, is a dynamic public general hospital offering a wide range of services, including surgical, maternity, orthopaedic, and a 24-hour emergency department. Since opening in January 1994, the hospital has grown rapidly to meet the needs of Melbourne's fast-growing western suburbs. A new emergency department is currently underway with a view to have it completed late 2026, The expansion will increase treatment spaces from 33 to 67. This includes four new resuscitation bays, 16 short stay beds and 36 emergency care cubicles to care for a rapidly growing population.

Essential:

* Aiding and performing nursing duties within the radiology department including liaison and support to all modalities.
* Providing procedural care and support including pre and post activities.
* Performing duties in accordance with Company protocols and ensuring high attention to detail and quality when completing required documentation.
* Coordinating, planning, and assisting with interventional procedures.
* AHPRA Registration.
* Maintain accreditation by attendance at seminars and lectures.
* Relevant Working with Children checks.

Experience within Medical imaging, emergency or Surgical scrub is not essential however would be beneficial, we encourage continuous growth and training for all staff.
