Federal Government | Initial 12-month contract | Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra
We are seeking an APS6 Interaction Designer to work for a federal government agency on an initial 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
Create and manage the visual aspects of marketing and communications materials for all digital channels, websites and other media, including infographics.
Work closely with communications teams to understand and develop briefs, and to produce high quality marketing and communications assets that align with brand identities and strategic objectives.
Provide specialist creative advice and guidance to support all communication plans and initiatives.
Develop concepts and designs for a variety of projects and produce and evolve brand identities and visual guides, ensuring that all design work adheres to style guidelines and standards.
Establish and maintain systems for storage of finished art and asset libraries and ensure that all design files are organised and accessible.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with stakeholders about the benefits of each option; review and provide feedback on the design work of other graphic designers to ensure that all digital design work is delivered on time.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Australian citizen required to be considered for this opportunity.
Location and Working Arrangements
You can work from the Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra office with very flexible hybrid working arrangements (1-2 days per week in office).
