Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Daventry.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support to students, both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in promoting engagement, confidence, and independence.
Responsibilities
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with EHCPs.
* Assist in the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects.
* Provide one-to-one or small group interventions.
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
* Help adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
* Monitor and record student progress.

* Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
