As a Trainer and Assessor of Individual Support in Aged Care with Health Link Training, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students seeking qualifications in these essential care sectors. Working on a contract basis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of care professionals in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.
What you'll be doing
* Plan, prepare and deliver training sessions.
* Assess student competency through both theoretical and practical assessments.
* Provide individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their learning goals.
* Collaborate with the broader training team to ensure consistency in teaching and assessment approaches.
* Maintain accurate student records and provide progress reports as required.
What we're looking for
* Relevant vocational qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, or equivalent.
* Clinical nurses are invited to apply.
* Demonstrated experience as a qualified trainer and assessor in this sector.
* Strong knowledge of the training package requirements and assessment methods for the relevant qualifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
* Proficient in using learning management systems and other training technologies.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
