Role Details

Routes: Delivering to Sydney, Melbourne and some Brisbane trips also.

Locations: Based out of Gillman SA Depot

Hours: Linehaul, multiple positions

What you'll do

• Running B-Double combinations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What You Will Bring

• A valid MC Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
• Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
• Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes.
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a robust commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification - or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
