We are seeking a dedicated and experienced building Supervisor to join our team in Cairns, Far North Queensland. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing insurance-related projects, have proven team leadership and communication skills, be technology literate, and be detail-focused.
Job Description
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of insurance building projects, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company standards, policies, on time and to budget.
* Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the project coordinator.
* Proactively monitor and track project progress to support consistent, accurate and timely updates to all relevant stakeholders.
* Oversee and coordinate all internal and external trade partners to maintain workflow efficiency and achieve timely project completion.
* Perform material take-offs, obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers for materials and equipment.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Relevant qualifications in construction management or a trade-related field.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the insurance or construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
