Job Title Material Planning & Control Analyst. Who are we? Role
The Material Planning & Control Analyst will coordinate, implement and monitor the quality action plans required to achieve qualification of a manufacturing process (special processes and/or non-destructive testing).
Responsibilities
* Identify raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
* Coordinate material movement between the warehouse and production areas.
* Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
* Schedule material for rework.
* Confirm material supply and demands.
* Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
* Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic and Contract Administration.
* Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
* Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage and coordinates any appropriate action with buyers.
* Assist Management in resolving problems concerning over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders.
* Actively participate and collaborate with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to identify operational solutions and establish best practices.
* Overtime – evenings, weekends as required.
* Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
* High school or equivalent
* 2+ years' experience in industrial logistics
* Must be available to work evening and weekend overtime as required
* 5 years related experience preferred
* Microsoft Access and Excel experience preferred
* Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job
* Excellent organization skills and attention to details required
* Must be a team player
Compensation
Anticipated salary - $28/hour - $33/hour
