Offer description

LFE requires an organized and motivated person to work with the teams at our two op shop sites, Meryl's Op Shop and Off Beat Re Homewares.

For the right applicant this can be a casual or PPT, you will be assisting the coordinators, staff and participants in duties pertaining to the effective and efficient running of the Op Shops, whilst providing support to people with challenged abilities.

Essential Criteria:

- Medium level computer skills
- High level of communication skills including; report writing; liaison/people
- Ability to train/teach
- Excellent organisational skills
- Advocate of people's rights
- High level of self motivation and ethics
- High standard of interpersonal skills, including self awareness
- Comfortable to work independently as well as an active team member
- Willingness to undertake relevant courses/studies
- Full employment history; also include the year and level you completed your schooling

Essential Documents and checks:

- Current driver's license - copy to be provided
- RMS Driving Record - copy to be provided
- Covid 19 Vaccination - Certificate to be providedHave or be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Clearance Screening - All successful applicants are required to obtain this clearance at commencement of employment with LFE. This is a mandatory clearance for the disability industry. More information can be found at Services NSW or you can speak to our HR team on 63801601

Desirable Criteria:

- Certificate III / IV Disabilities, or relevant qualification
- Knowledge of the NDIS
- Retail Experience
- Knowledge of Disability Services Standards; Disability Services Act; Cultural Diversity; EEO & WHS Conditions of Employment
- As per Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010Subject to completion of satisfactory 6-month trial
- LFE recruits by EEO principles and practices
