Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the scheduling and dispatching of Communications Technicians to customer sites.
Description:
You will also:
* Monitor real-time field activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer needs and ensure timely completion of service jobs.
* Communicate job details, including location, customer contact information, and service requirements, to field technicians accurately and promptly.
* Optimise schedules to maximise efficiency, reducing operational costs where possible.
* Handle customer enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner, working towards swift resolution.
* Collaborate with field technicians and other relevant departments to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
* Supervise/manage all administrative tasks, such as quoting, invoices and approving time sheets.
* Manage the maintenance of the Mackay office, company vehicles, and equipment.
Skills and Experiences:
What are we looking for?
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, scheduling and coordinating field staff
* Motivated, customer-focused, and skilled administrator with a mining or heavy industry background
* Strong experience developing trusted relationship with internal and external stakeholders
* Experience using an ERP system, ideally SAP
* Proven ability to plan and prioritise work
* Safety focused mindset
