About the role:
Reporting to the COO the Commercial Manager will lead all commercial and contractual activities across the organisation, ensuring strong financial performance, effective risk management and robust contract governance. Partnering closely with operations, sales, finance, procurement and legal, this role is critical in driving commercial value, margin improvement and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and execute the commercial strategy aligned to business objectives, including revenue growth, margin improvement and risk mitigation
* Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance, variations and dispute management
* Monitor and report on commercial performance, including revenue, margins, cost of sales and KPIs, driving continuous improvement
* Provide commercial leadership and advice to internal stakeholders to optimise pricing, contract terms and commercial outcomes
* Ensure strong commercial governance, compliance with legislation, company policies and HSEQ requirements across all activities

Key requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior commercial or Commercial Manager role, ideally in construction or related industries
* Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, management, and complex commercial arrangements
* Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret reports, models, and performance metrics
* Experience identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and driving margin improvement
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or equivalent
