We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader in our Families Together Program & our dedicated team based in our Edgeworth NSW office.

The Team Leader of Families Together is a leadership role within OzChild that strengthens outcomes for children, young people and their families by providing operational and practice leadership to the Families Together program in specified locations, utilising evidence-informed, family-based approaches.
Families Together is an intensive family support program working with families where children and young people (0–17 years) are at risk of significant harm, family breakdown, or escalation of statutory involvement. The program focuses on building family safety, stability and capacity through structured intervention, collaborative goal setting, strengthening parenting capability, addressing risk factors, and supporting connections to community and cultural resources. Practice is responsive, culturally informed, and tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of each family.
Essential requirements
* A bachelor's degree (social work, psychology or relevant discipline).
Skills & Experience required
* Experience working in child, youth and family services with families experiencing multiple and interrelated risk factors.
* Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience supporting practitioners working in complex, high-risk and statutory practice environments.
* Experience working collaboratively with Child Protection and other government or community service agencies.
* Experience using electronic case management systems and program data to support reporting, quality assurance and service improvement.
As Team Leader of Families Together, you will be accountable for the operational leadership of the Families Together program.
This will include:
* Providing leadership to the implementation and ongoing development of the Families Together program
* Team leadership and practice supervision to ensure employees in the Families Together program have the resources, skills and support required to deliver high-quality, safe and effective services to children and families.
* Working with the team to identify and address barriers to engagement, motivation and sustained change for families referred to the program.
* Ensuring practice quality, outcomes data and information management systems are maintained to support effective service delivery and a culture of continuous quality improvement.
* Working with the Program Manager – Child & Family Services to report on program outcomes, risks and overall performance, and to communicate these to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
* Proactive stakeholder engagement with key internal and external partners to support coordinated service delivery, integration with other services, and shared accountability for outcomes for families.
* Where required, managing a small case practice or shared practice oversight role to maintain connection to direct service delivery, support staff development, and inform practice leadership and supervision.
