The Team
The Merchant Services Production Support team is a global group responsible for monitoring and tracking merchant services production systems.
Responsibilities
* Deliver application support for in-house and cloud deployed applications.
* Analyze reported issues to engage relevant investigation teams.
* Access impact of production issues via analysis of logs.
* Drive discussions with partner teams to identify resolutions to production issues.
* Clearly document and draft clear, concise communication on production incidents to share with stakeholders.
* Identify platform vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.
* Maintain metrics to help drive improvement in all areas of Production Services.
Your Background
* You should be comfortable leading discussions.
* You should have excellent communication and documentation skills.
* You should have experience supporting applications in larger production environments.
* You should have strong project and time management skills.
* You should have knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
* You should have knowledge of database concepts and MS Office.
* You should understand how data flows through computer networks.
Technical Skills
* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Solid understanding of the SDLC, ITIL processes, change management, release management, and configuration management.
* Credit card industry and eCommerce experience.
* Experience with analytics platforms like Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, or NewRelic.
* Experience with monitoring platforms like SiteScope and Dynatrace.
* Strong knowledge of cloud technology preferably AWS (EC2, ECS, ALB, NLB, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch).
* Exposure to Point-of-Sale Technologies like PAX, Clover, Square.
