We are seeking a seasoned Database Specialist to join our team.
Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex database solutions, including stored procedures, external functions, and triggers. Key tasks include:
* Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and data warehousing
* Session audit logging of XML schemas and test case scenarios for data transfer capacity
* Database security and disaster recovery
Additionally, the candidate will assist with project control, data modeling, database upgrades, and version control, as well as provide support for QA and third-level technical issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position and possess strong PL/SQL programming skills in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Firebird. Other essential requirements include:
* Strong data modeling expertise
* Experience with data warehouses
* Knowledge of XML and data quality
* Retail point-of-sale and financial accounting experience
Candidates should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
