We are seeking a strategic risk advisor to join our Risk & Compliance team.
This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office, offering flexibility and collaboration opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the insurance sector in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom.
Strong understanding of risk management systems, compliance frameworks, and local regulatory environments is essential.
* Deliver strategic risk advisory services across the organization, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Provide expert risk advisory services on governance, risk management practices, and compliance obligations.
* Lead comprehensive risk assessments, identifying key risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and analyse emerging risks, providing timely insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
Requirements
* University-level qualifications in finance, law, business management, economics, or equivalent.
* Experience in general insurance, insurance brokering, or insurance regulation.
* Ability to provide strategic advice on risk culture and compliance matters.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and actionable insights.
