**Job summary**
We are seeking a Quality Manager with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering to support us on the Inland Rail project. This position will be based from Brisbane, with increasing site presence as the project progresses.
**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Represent Martinus for quality matters and act as the primary quality contact
- Execute Quality Management Plan and undertake regular review
- Actively promote quality through example, communicate expectations to all Martinus employees and subcontractors
- Ensure the systems and processes Martinus undertake work are audited and followed. Prepare and maintain the audit schedule and undertake regular onsite auditing of work
- Monitor document control and ensure correct process is followed as per contract requirements, ensure team are aware of document changes
- Report on quality performance to the Project Manager and represent Martinus in project related progress meetings
- Set, monitor and report on project KPI's
- Consult and assist with the initiation of corective actions relating to project KPI's, QMP reviews, audits and non-conformances
- Review quality related documentation
- Prepare reports and attend client meetings as necessary
- Ensure suppliers are audited as per plan
- Follow up, review and generally maintain all quality related issues
**Knowledge, skills and attributes**
- Experience as a Quality Manager, working on complex infrastructure projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with experience at Project Engineer level or above
- High level of initiative and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent knowledge of Quality management systems including a thorough knowledge of ISO 9001
- High level of organisation, excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to travel to site as required
