We are currently seeking a passionate Head of Sales to be a part of our stunning journey - building beautiful forever.

The Head of Sales is responsible for owning and driving the sales strategies for the company. This role is responsible for the overall sales team and overseeing that execution of the plan is achieved, in line with the overall business plan and monthly sales targets and KPIs. Demonstrate excellent team organisation skills and oversee all aspects of the sales department to ensure that Knotwood provide excellent customer service to all our customers and promote our brand in delivering growth revenue and ROI.

**PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Develop, implement, and execute on the sales strategy for the business. One year, Three years and Five years.
- Drive the areas of improvement and investment to support delivering on the sales plan.
- Set clear concise customer and segment growth plans with measurable deliverables.
- Motivate and mentor the sales team to continue to develop and grow
- Responsible for the sales team to oversee that each member completes their assigned duties.
- Responsible in directing the sales team to reach the set sales targets and KPIs.
- The development and deliver presentation to key strategic customer value propositions.
- Ensure process, structure and systems for quotes/take offs is in place and adhered to.
- Oversee the teams servicing levels of existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts.
- Responsible to resolve customer complaints by investigating the problems and providing a solution remedy which should be documented.
- Oversee any quotations provided and ensure pricing is within set limits set by the Directors.
- Oversee the organisation of sending samples clients and distributors.
- Oversee general correspondence with customers and the filing of customer paperwork electronically and manually.
- Report to Top Management on the performance of the IMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus
- Ensure the integrity of the IMS is maintained
- Sale meeting & reporting responsibilities
- Compliance with competition and consumer legislation
- Other key accountabilities appropriate to the position as determined by the manager of the role

**About you**:

- Proven (5 years+) sales experience in the building & construction sectors. With direct exposure and experience within the architectural and specification space.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Computer skills using a range of programs and ERP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence others at various levels
- Technical product and systems knowledge (including the ability to understand drawings)
- Ability to deliver customer value proposition presentations & Architect CPD's
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field
