The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the White Cloud Foundation is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and management of the organization. The CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors and is accountable for achieving the Foundation's mission, vision, and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the Foundation's mission and goals. Provide visionary leadership to guide the Foundation's growth and impact.
Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Foundation, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, programs, and initiatives.
Financial Oversight: Manage the Foundation's finances, including budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring the sustainability of funding sources. Report regularly to the Board on financial performance.
Board Collaboration: Work closely with the Board of Directors to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities. Foster a strong partnership between the board and the executive team.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, government agencies, and community organizations. Advocate for the Foundation's mission and programs.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Create a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and professional growth.
Program Development: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives that advance the Foundation's mission. Ensure programs are aligned with strategic priorities and community needs.
Public Relations: Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Foundation. Represent the organization at public events, media engagements, and community forums.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the Foundation adheres to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Identify and mitigate risks to the organization's reputation and operations.
Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit organization, foundation, or for profit related sector. Proven track record of successful strategic planning, organizational management, fundraising and revenue generation.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent financial acumen and strategic thinking.
