About the Position
You will be based in Burnie, working closely with a dedicated and skilled crew to ensure the delivery of exceptional results.
A good level of physical fitness is important, along with a strong work ethic and reliability.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure a strong culture of safety and WHS compliance throughout all operations
* Operate bitumen sprayer truck for road projects safely and efficiently
* Apply bitumen correctly according to project requirements
* Maintain spray truck and other equipment to prevent downtime
* Perform general duties as required to support the team's goals
Your Qualifications and Skills
* Holding a valid HC or MC heavy vehicle licence
* Dangerous Goods Licence
* Traffic Management Ticket
* White Card
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Computer and basic maths competency
* Strong commitment to safety
* Flexibility to travel, work night shifts/weekends, and do overtime in peak season
