Job Description:
As a Defence Fuel Installations Operator (DFI Operator), you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations. You will lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
* You will ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing.
* Experience in similar environments would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and manage fuel installations according to standard operating procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, quality, and other relevant data.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
* Lead a team of operators to achieve organisational objectives.
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of defence specific training and protocols.
* A valid driver's license (HR or HC would be highly regarded).
* Safety is at the forefront of everything you do.
* A current Defence Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
* Ability to relocate to the Darwin region or live locally.
