The role
Based at Mackay Service Centre, this is a hands-on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and will be responsible for:
* Assembling, servicing and maintaining geared motors and industrial gear boxes.
* Preparing products for despatch.
* Ensuring the work environment is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times.
* Maintaining a high standard of work.
About you
* Relevant trade qualifications.
* Relevant technical knowledge pertaining to the Mechanical Engineering Industry.
* Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* A positive attitude to safety.
* Forklift ticket would be an advantage.
* Machining experience would be an advantage.
