Position Summary
The Accountant (General) will join a team in a remote work environment and be responsible for financial reporting, auditing, and accounting information systems.
Position Responsibilities
* Prepare and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
* Evaluate financial performance, analyze financial trends, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
* Prepare budgets, conduct cost analyses, and forecast financial performance.
* Prepare tax returns, ensure compliance with tax laws, and provide advice on taxation strategies.

* Demonstrated skills in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and compliance with accounting standards.
* Excellent skills in evaluating financial data and in analyzing financial trends.

Qualifications & Work Experience
Hold a relevant qualification equivalent to an AQF bachelor's degree or higher and one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience.
