About the Role
Sime are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join our team at our Melbourne Street branch. This is a 6-month fixed term, Monday to Friday role.
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will:
* Define and document current and future state business processes.
* Lead requirements gathering and produce clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Manage and refine the product backlog to ensure priorities are understood and ready for development.
* Act as the key link between stakeholders, Product Managers/Owners, and technical teams.
* Facilitate workshops to align teams on scope, design, and delivery decisions.
* Apply agile analysis techniques, including story mapping and prioritisation.
* Ensure proposed solutions deliver measurable business value.
* Break down complex problems into actionable requirements.
* Support the creation and review of program artefacts and MVP planning.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
* Business Analyst or Agile certification.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in business and/or technical analysis within a PMO, portfolio, or large transformation program.
* Strong customer empathy and ability to influence product leaders using design thinking principles.
* Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and design thinking frameworks (e.g., Double Diamond, Google Design Sprints).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for documenting requirements.
* Ability to identify and manage dependencies across cross‑functional teams.
