Digital & IT Manager – Overview
Air Liquide Healthcare Australia, a leading supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services, is looking for a Digital & IT Manager to lead digital initiatives and day‐to‐day IT activities in Ormeau, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
* Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects related to digital transformation, ensuring on‐time and within‐budget delivery.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise business processes through digital solutions and automation.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders, including European and Asian teams, to translate needs into digital solutions.
* Problem Solving: Analyse complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
* Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the business.
* Change Management: Facilitate organisational change and ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools and processes.
* Budget Management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively, and oversee the IT operational budget for cost efficiency.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress and digital transformation initiatives.
* International Collaboration: Communicate effectively with European/Asian stakeholders, navigating cultural nuances and time zone differences.
* Daily IT Operations: Oversee day‐to‐day IT operations, including laptop replacement, local application management, user support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to minimise downtime.
* Asset Management: Manage IT assets, including hardware and software inventory, and coordinate timely replacement and disposal of equipment.
Qualifications
* Experience: 3+ years in digital product management and IT operations management with a proven track record of successful product launches and daily IT functions.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT infrastructure management.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non‐technical audiences.
* Problem‐Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex problems creatively and effectively, including technical issues in daily IT operations.
* Customer Focus: Passion for understanding and meeting customer needs.

* Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Power BI, Monday.com, SFDC.
* Relevant certifications: Certified Product Manager, Agile Certified Practitioner.
