Job Overview
We are seeking two experienced Team Leaders to join our retail operations facility in Melbourne. These roles will be based on an afternoon shift, 5-day roster, Tuesday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and manage site safety protocols, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Model company values and lead by example, enabling effective collaboration between teams.
* Ensure agreed service levels are met and regularly review operational performance.
* Support and manage team performance, including reviewing KPIs and inventory management.
* Ensure daily and weekly labour and resourcing requirements are met.
* Train team members to operate machinery/equipment and understand warehouse work systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed as a Team Leader at our facility, you will have:
* Extensive experience in logistics/transport industry.
* A background in retail logistics or fast-paced FMCG environment.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issues.
* Excellent knowledge of multi-temperature operations.
* Leadership skills, managing a large operational team.
* Basis understanding of profit and loss, labour cost control, and storage handling costs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve business objectives.
