About the Role
We are currently seeking a community-based Personal Care Worker (overnights) to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting clients to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship, while ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred approach to care.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will:
* Be compassionate, reliable and respectful
* Assist with all areas of personal care, including bathing/showering, hygiene, dressing, grooming, fitting of aids and eating meals
* Assist with domestic duties and other activities of daily living
* Comply with operational guidelines and task directives
* Work collaboratively as part of a team
* Build rapport with families, team members and other stakeholders
* Be able to do inactive sleepovers plus 4 hours of active work
* Good documentation skills
* Opportunities for day shifts
Essentials:
* Two (2) years' experience as a Personal Care Worker
* Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual Support
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Reasonable degree of physical fitness
* Flexibility to work available shifts on short notice
* Valid Australian Driver's License
* Current Police Clearance certificate
* Employee Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion
* Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster
* Manual Handling competency
* With a company car to use for shifts
