About the Role
The Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher position is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating educational programs that support the learning and development of young children. The role involves creating engaging learning experiences, monitoring children's progress, maintaining educational records, and supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Location: 352–354 Princes Highway, Noble Park North VIC 3174
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 + Superannuation
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, and implement educational programs to support children's learning and development
* Deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that encourage cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
* Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental outcomes
* Maintain educational records, learning plans, and assessment documentation
* Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Support children's wellbeing, participation, and positive learning experiences
* Communicate with parents and families regarding children's learning and development
* Work collaboratively with educators and other staff to support program delivery
* Participate in curriculum planning, educational reviews, and centre activities
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and centre policies
Skills & Experience
* Relevant Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised qualification
* Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role
* Solid understanding of early childhood learning and development principles
* Experience planning and delivering educational programmes for young children
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a collaborative educational environment
* Commitment to supporting positive learning outcomes and child wellbeing
