Your Role
Mancala is currently on the lookout for Raisebore Mechanical Engineering Technician for our various projects located throughout Australia, initially commencing in NSW.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
* Understand the Operation of Raisebore Rigs
* Conduct rig-up
* Operate the rig.
* Conduct de-rig.
* Ensure the highest level of housekeeping is maintained.
* Conduct preventative maintenance activities.
* Estimate material costs and quantities for any repair maintenance
* Ensure stock removed from the site tool container is appropriately recorded
* Conduct testing of all mechanical systems to ensure the rig runs at full capacity.
* Collate an analyze performance data to ensure targets will be met.
* Ensure all company safety standards are maintained at all times
* Understand client / customers' requirements.
* Conduct mobilisation and demobilisation.
* Supervise Drillers to ensure they're using the machine correctly and to it's full capacity.
* Conduct site establishment and set up the raise drill rig as per Mancala standards and procedures.
* Follow all site and Mancala standards and procedures.
* Ensure initial site set up is reviewed prior to conducting site establishment.
* Ensure all items of equipment undergo their appropriate pre start before operating.
* Advise the Project Supervisor/Manager/Operational Superintendent of any changes to the Mancala operating procedures and ensure amendments are made.
Required Experience:
* Minimum 5 years Mechanical Engineering Experience
* Strong understanding of Raisebore Rig Operation
* An Intermediate level of mechanical knowledge, with the ability to repair equipment if needed would be advantageous
* Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
* Energy and drive to meet personal objectives, with an open, transparent style and flexible approach
* Basic Microsoft office skills are desirable
