At the City of Armadale, we're growing our People Services team and looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor who wants to do meaningful work that genuinely shapes a community.
This isn't agency recruitment it's the real deal.
You'll partner directly with leaders across every part of our organisation: IT, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Waste, Customer Service, Recreation, and more.
You'll design roles, write creative ads, shortlist talent, interview, advise and onboard bringing great people into roles that make a difference to how our City runs every day.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the full 360° recruitment process from job design and advertising to interviewing, selection and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their teams and find the right people fast.
Juggle multiple campaigns across corporate, technical and frontline roles (and love it).
Deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience, every time.
Help us evolve our employer brand and talent pipeline as we grow into the future.
Use your insight to shape smarter, more creative recruitment strategies.
What You'll Bring
You're an experienced recruiter (5+ years) who knows how to balance people, process, and pace.
You can manage multiple campaigns at once, pivot between disciplines, and still deliver a seamless experience.
You're curious, collaborative, and not afraid to try new ideas.
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment across varied role types (blue- and white-collar).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A creative approach to sourcing and engagement.
The confidence to advise leaders and shape great hiring decisions.
Familiarity with recruitment software (Big Red Sky or similar).
